Part 2 of our guidance for executives on the importance of speed during reorganizations.

Executives learn the wrong lessons during the reorganizations they go through when they are managers. Executives are much more proactive, and move quickly.

Most managers wait to find out what the impact of a reorganization will be on their team, and themselves. That's a bad lesson to take into executive roles, but most managers still do. And then they are caught unawares when other execs are working the system before and during the reorganization. It becomes a game of musical chairs, and last one standing/waiting is out. Of a job.
