Mark Horstman, co-founder of Manager Tools, provides Manager Tools executive coaching. Working one-on-one with individuals to strengthen their leadership skills, solve their management problems and improve their effectiveness.  He provides an outside perspective, Manager Tools' signature actionable recommendations, and the guidance needed to excel in one's career.

Executives face unique, complex problems and often only one-to-one coaching can solve them.  Engagements will focus on managerial and executive behaviors to deliver results and help executives to be more effective. Common behaviors addressed are – and not necessarily limited to – executive leadership, internal and external relationships, internal organizational communications, priority setting, associated time and resource management and developing staff behavior to support key organizational deliverables.

Mark has been coaching executives and leaders for 40 years (see bio below) and he will bring his experience to your problems.

How It Works

Discovery Call

One 15-30 minute discovery discussion with Mark to agree on coaching objectives. No in-depth discovery needed, just get to work!

Duration

Mark will make a minimum five month commitment to your development. If further months are required, Mark will agree with you on what's required and can be achieved.

Engagement

You’ll have a weekly call or zoom meeting with Mark. In between, he’ll be available for unlimited texts and email.

Investment

$5000 per month, with a minimum five month commitment. The first two months due on commencement of coaching, further months due at the end of each month.

Mark Horstman - Biography

Mark Horstman is Co-Founder of Manager Tools, a management consulting and training firm. He is also writer and co-host of the Executive Tools podcast, after having written and hosted the Manager Tools Podcast for 17 years. Manager Tools is the #1 business podcast in the world, with over 3 million downloads a month. He has personally trained over 50,000 managers in his career as well as congressional members and staff on a regular basis for the past 8 years. In late September, Mark and his business partner, Michael Auzenne, stepped down from managing the day-to-day operations of Manager Tools and now sit on the Board. Mark is, however, still engaged in unique training opportunities, executive consulting and writing for Manager Tools.

Mark is also the author of The Effective Manager, which has sold over 50,000 copies, and The Effective Hiring Manager. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
