Our guidance on negative company culture change.

This guidance comes from a question from a listener. Her company was taken over, and as sometimes happens, the new company culture was very different from the one that she was used to. To her it was a very negative change. It had only been a couple of months and she was already considering leaving and finding something new. She was asking us if that was the right thing to do. We're not going to tell you whether or not that's the right thing to do for you if you find yourself in a similar situation, but we will tell you some things to consider when you're trying to work out whether to stay or go.

This situation can happen not just when a company is taken over but when a company gets a new board or when there's a reorganization, when a team gets a new manager or a new customer, or even when something external changes like the economy or the government or when new legislation is passed. The likelihood of you finding yourself in this situation is probably higher than you think.

This Cast Answers These Questions
