Disagreements with Peer Managers

I'm been looking through the podcasts in an attempt to find one on disagreements with peer managers. As in all organizations there are those who are pushy and their thinking is that they will continue to push until someone says something. What is the best approach for this type of peer manager?

There are several podcasts that touch on conflict resolution.

Bear in mind that your peer managers may have significantly different DISC profiles as well.

Also take a look at Coaching Directs on Interpersonal Skills when "the medicine ball approach" is discussed:

Lety,

After re-reading your post I definitely encourage you to go through the DISC podcasts.

Being pushy is your conclusion...it is not a behavior. In the another manager's view their behavior could interpreted as "clear, direct, bottom-line."
