App crashes, and why microphone

Why does the app need microphone permissions? The install for the app went well. When I open it I get a dialog saying the app has stopped. I installed from the google play store. On a Samsung Tab running Android 4.2.2. Thanks for all the great content. I feel like I should have learned this a long time ago.

I'm sorry for the trouble. Can you tell me which Samsung tablet you're using?
As for the prompt for microphone permissions, the audio component used to build this app includes capabilities not currently employed by Manager Tools. We have customized this component to use only the audio playback functions, but it is capable of performing functions not currently used by the app.
