Just wondering how many MT listeners are in the DFW area, and if any would be interested in a regular (to be defined) meet up?

Dbchester;

I just moved to the Dallas area and I would love to meet up some time. Have you gotten any other people to meet up?

I'm also willing to meet for lunch to discuss Manager Tools topics and share experiences.

I work in Irving, we're in the Nokia buildings at 190 and 114.

Thanks,
Joe

I live in the Allen area but would love to meet up some time. If it is in the evening I could possibly break free every once in awhile.

I found these very helpful as I helped set up a similar meet-up with folks in Los Angeles and we had a great time. Please let me know if you all are interested and a day of the week that you would like to meet up.

Hey guys, sorry about falling off this for a while, and not responding. I'm not a manager anymore, I'm now with a small IT services firm, however I do still listen to MT weekly. I've found the lessons are timeless and appropriate for all business, so if you, or others would still like to meet, respond here and I'll set something up for just after the new year.

Just pulsing this.  I just moved to Dallas but have been a listener since 2006.  Anyone else interested in getting together periodically?

I'm new to management, and would like to discuss topics and experiences. I'm in the McKinney/Frisco area and lunch would be grand time.

Hey Dallas peeps!  We're in your city several times a year for our conferences.  If you schedule a meetup while we're there, we'd love to join!  Our presenting team enjoys the opportunity to meet our listeners and learn about the issues and challenges you're facing.  Disclaimer so you won't be disappointed... Mark rarely does our public conferences so please don't expect him.  Our presenting team has grown and includes me, Sarah, and Kate!

Our calendar is here:  https://www.manager-tools.com/training.  You can send us am email with the date at [email protected] and if we can, we'll be there!

Best,
Dani

Dallas is a large place and it can be difficult to get around, especially for lunch.  I'm here for a few more weeks until Christmas and I'm in until then.

Instead of asking when and where, I'll propose - Rodeo Goat near Market Center in Dallas.  Time is after work on Tuesday Nov 17, 6-8 for drinks, appetizers and an informal meeting.  No agenda other than to meet others and nominate the person most likely to plan the next event.  First choice will be the back patio, weather permitting, then inside at one of the standing tables.

RSVP here please for two weeks from now and I'll tell the hostess how many we expect.  Ask for Manager Tools, hopefully we will not be hard to find.

It would be a good idea to schedule a regular monthly meeting.

Actually the next week will probably be better. the 2nd of December.

25th is kind of cutting it close to travel time.

This is an old thread, but I'm interested in a DFW meetup as well.

Hi there-

Wanted to update this thread.  I started a new DFW Manager Tools Meetup group in order for us to network with and learn from other Manager Tools listeners in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

I hope y'all will join!
