I know the model, I'm good at delivering it, and this is the last piece of the puzzel. Remembering to give enough.

I've got my rubberband on my left wrist and two pieces of feedback ready. I'm really resisting the urge to hold one of them until tomorrow :)

5 for 5 :-D. I think total count for the week was 9. They must think I've gone off the deep end ;) Harder than I thought. (Easy actually, but surprising how much I have to remind myself to do it.) 2x / day is going to be a huge change.

Please keep us updated on your progress.  I will be rolling out feedback this month with a new team and need the motivation!!

I went 0fer on Monday (1/2 day work + 1/2 day training), 1 on Tuesday, and 2 today. Even on days when I don't hit my number I'm doing better. I've got to be at 15 'feedbacks' in the last 10 days which is probably more than I had done in the prior two months.

Finished 5 days of 2x / day. It was much harder than 1x / day. Strategies include 1) pay more attention to what people are doing, 2) lower the bar for when I'd give feedback, and 3) include project managers and 'virtual team' members.

Lowering the bar has been a big step. I've given feedback for the design of an automated alert. I've given feedback for someone sending an email that basically said, "I agree with this plan". I've given feedback for going into a process without a clear vision of the end game. I've given feedback for making sure that the purpose of the meeting was stated in the first few minutes. Basically anything that made me thing, "gosh, I hope they do that again."

I'm almost 3 weeks in with only 0-fer. Out of 20+ feedback items I think they've all been positive.
