Hello everyone. I've been a Manager Tools listener for a few months and recently purchased the interviewing series. Wow, what a fantastic set of resources!
Using the resume advice, I totally revamped my resume and BAM...I have an interview on Monday. The job is a Geomatics Specialist at a major geospatial solutions company.
I'm listening to the interview series at a feverish pace as a way of prepping for my interview. Just starting lesson 6 today.
I will keep you posted on my progress.

Good luck on your "cramming" - I recently purchased the interview series and was able to implement it within seven days to successfully interview and land the job. You can do it!

I have my interview later today. I am being interviewed concurrently by three directors of different departments. My question: WHO should I follow up with? Just pick one? Send thank you cards, phone calls and emails to all three? What do you think?

After a long & drawn out
After a long & drawn out process, I was not selected for the job. Turns out the company was looking to fill two positions: one junior and one senior.
I know the person who was selected for the senior position. It appears as though my professional experience put me in a situation where I was underqualified for the senior position, but overqualified for the junior position. Wrong place at the wrong time.
Nevertheless, this whole interview process was a great learning experience and I can apply this experience going forward in subsequent interviews.
no offer, but you did come out with some stuff
While you may have not gotten an offer, you did come out of the process with some good things:
Interview experience -- You sat in the hot-seat for a while, you got some practice at something you don't do everyday
Broader network -- You made some new contacts, who now that you are looking to make a change. They may have something open up next month or in six months, something that they think you would be perfect at.
Knowledge about the company -- I am assuming you know more about the company than before the interview. Are you still interested in working for them?
Feedback -- you got some feedback, resume is good - you got the interview, interview was good - you said it was a long process, so you didn't scare them off in the interview
It sucks not getting an offer, take away the good things you can.
