Looking for good software to manage a personal network

Hello, I am looking for good software to manage my personal network. I have a MacBookPro and I have been using Bento. Two questions. 1. Are there other Bento users? How do they adapt Bento to CRM work? 2. I would like to keep track of the e-mails I send and to whom automatically; basically display a contact's activity.

I like Bento, but I'm mostly using it to keep track of external inquiries to follow up on--not really for CRM, exactly.

It's primary strength is that it's a database program that needs no training whatsoever.
