Who is going to be there early enough for dinner? Anyone interested in meeting up Tuesday night? Anyone know a good place to go? Looking forward to it!

This would seem to be a good point to come back to the forums... :D
I get to the airport at 17:00, headwinds and the TSA willing - certainly interested in meeting up with any and all on the Tuesday night; it's my first time in San Antonio, so if not at the hotel, then I'm completely open to suggestions.
I will be arriving in San Antonio at 17:40. Dinner around 19:30 would probably a good time. As Mark and Mike indicated eating at the hotel would allow for others to join as they arrive for dinner or if late maybe just drinks.
Where do we find blue roses in Texas? I thought they only stocked yellow roses by law? :-)
19:30 in the hotel restaurant! Sounds good to me. First one there tell them we have an unknown large group coming and everyone just ask for the Manager Tools table? Sound reasonable?
And Will, eat a light lunch so you can join us. :-)
I'd volunteer to be a ringleader, but I won't be getting to the hotel until about 7:30, so that would cut it a little close to scout and prep a location. Any ideas?
I just listened to the cast on attending a conference. So if we all follow Mark's advice and don't bring business cards, how will we get each other's information? :-) Just a thought...

Seems I was looking at the wrong schedule or some such - I won't actually be landing until 18:50, but I'd still like to join, if things time out.
I would like to make it an even 20! Brad Gibson here from Calgary... I'm in San Antonio now, my homework is done and I'm ready to meet a few MT regulars. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Dinner at the Hotel works. Shall we all wear a pink rose for identification purposes?

I'm down for meeting up wherever and at whatever time. My flight arrives at 6:20PM though, so it may be later than the rest of yal.
I figure if I have a blue, yellow and a pink rose on someone will notice me. :D
Looks like the Palacio has 2 bars and a restaurant/bar onsite or on the riverwalk, meet up at one of those :?:

I'm a volunteering fool. And I'm getting in early. Do we just need a head count and a table at the hotel restaurant?

I count 10 for dinner at 19:30. Or 7:30 for those of us non-military types. :)
Is there only one restaurant in the hotel?

Thanks for taking point on this. Looks like we've got three options within the hotel itself:

Unless someone with first-hand knowledge were to express a particular preference, I'd be inclined to ask the hotel, based on the expected number?
But, as the saying goes, I'm easy....

Thanks,

Another one for dinner
I'll be there for dinner as well - am I 18 or 19?? And to Mark's point of meal etiquette... who's picking up the tab -
NOT IT!
See you tomorrow...

Dinner reservations for 19:30 at Ibiza in the hotel. I reserved for 18 people - under Will Duke or Manager Tools.
Take the main elevator to R. Can't miss it.
I'm in 1122 if you have any questions, or if I don't go walkabout. :)

Thanks Will for setting it up!
Arrived early - I am in for dinner
Thanks Will for setting everything up. I will be joining too. I think we are over 20 now it seems.
