I'm organizing a meeting for eight members of a task force. It's certainly a working lunch, but we'll probably go out to a restaurant.

Is this a good idea? Or would it be better to have something catered in? We have a lot to talk about, so I don't want to suggest that it's a social lunch; it's definitely a time to get work done.

If we go out to a restaurant, is it over the top to have a published agenda?

Personally, I think you need to have lunch brought in your going to have an agenda. Its OK to have some topics of discussion for a lunch at a resaurant but I think the social environment forces it to be a social lunch, not a working one.

You can't easily stick to an agenda at a restaurant and I don't think you should, its just not the right environment.

I think I agree with you. Thanks for the input.

Greg-

Sorry this took so long.

Don't go out. If it's a working lunch, cater or brown bag. Too many distractions at a restaurant.
