New Manager in Texas

Hello everyone. I recently became the Network Services Manager for small IT consulting firm in Houston, TX. I moved from the New Orleans, LA area soon after the Katrina and have quickly gone from Network/Server Admin to Network Services Manager within a year. I guess it was a good move! This is my first management position so I am trying to soak in as much as possible.

After my promotion I was point in the direction of the Manager Tools Podcast and have been trying to catch up on all the Members Podcasts. I really enjoy all the info I am getting and am VERY happy that I was directed to this resource.

I really look forward to learning a lot from the site and hope to meet a lot of great people.
