Sorry folks ... despite requests to keep the discussion cordial, the conversation on this thread continues to spiral downward. I believe in a free and open discussion, but when others are hurt in the process, the whole community suffers. I don't recall ever having deleted posts in the past, but I am doing so now.
Let's please get back to helping each other grow instead of tearing others down.

There was a good deal of value in a lot of the posts, and I have to say that I'm sorry to see it vanish.
But it was overwhelmed - sort of "shouted down" - by the nastier [i]ad hominum [/i]stuff.
