Sydney Meet-Up Sunday May 11th

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is any interest in a Sydney meet up?

I'm from out of town, so I'll be coming in to Sydney on Sunday May 11th so it would be convenient for me to do it Sunday night before the conference.  However, I can see how others might not like to lose their Sunday night.  I do get back to Sydney several times a year so I'd be happy to set something up soon after this May's conference if that's going to be better for others.

Let me know if there is any interest.

I'd be up for a May meet up if it fits with my schedule (I don't work in the city unfortunately).

Hi,
i'm up for a Sydney meet up, I wouldn't mind meeting others face-to-face.  I'm also from out of town so will organise travelling up on the weekend - can't confirm my plans just yet but do keep me in mind for a meet up.

Yep, I'm interested in a Sydney meet up as well.
I'll be in Sydney for most of May (I'm also out-of-town, and am moving back to Sydney next year).

We have just 3 positive respondents.  At this stage, my suggestion would be a casual meet up in the Cortile bar at the Intercontinental on 11th May - Sunday night - 8pm.  Happy to explore alternative ideas if anyone has some.

BTW, for those looking for Sydney accommdation for the conference:
I took MT's advice and booked the first secret hotel listed on lastminute.com.au which turned out to be the Sofitel just a couple of minutes walk from the Intercontinental. 
Another good option is https://www.airbnb.com.au/  (be careful to read the reviews).

Allan here and I completed the first MT training a couple of years ago and would like to network with others who do the training.
Let me know if your keen and perhaps we can organise something after training when you have had an opportunity to implement it in practice.

Hi all,
I'm going to call off the proposed meet up on Sunday, and suggest we just meet in the conference.
Only 3 of us responded about a meet up, and we are all going to meet Monday with the option of staying as long as we like after the conference finishes. 
I'd still like ot organise something.  Maybe later in the year.

Hi Kevin - and all of you attending the MT conference on Monday. I haven't read through these forums for a while, and thought I'd check in now to see if a time for a meet up around the conference has been scheduled. I'm sorry it's cancelled, but completely understand.
I attended the MT EM & EC conference a few years back now, and it's awesome - you'll all have a great time! I am definitely interested in a Sydney meet up, if you organise one later in the year.

Can't make the conference this month but will be there for October.
Thanks for the hotel suggestions; I'll be needing them as it will also be my first time in Sydney (coming from Adelaide and Melbourne is my usual place to visit ;)
