Resume advice- about to be layed off after a new promotion- should I include it on my resume?

So word on the street is that I won't survive the next round of lay offs at my company. My bosses, boss promoted me to help me survive the last round- but she won't be able to help this time around (since she is leaving). As a result I find that there is a very real possibility that I may not have a job at the end of June. So I raise this question. although my resume has been recently updated (as of march). Do I include the promotion I received in March? Won't it raise the question of "If you were just promoted why are you leaving?" I appreciate any thoughts.

You must include that in your resume. The reasons are: better postion, more salary and repuation. Whereas, you can give a genuine reason for leaving.

After I saw you post - it made so much sense... I thought "Of course I should include it!" I appreciate your thoughts!
