Hi guys,
I'm a regular listener to your series and get a huge amount of value out of the actionable ideas you present every week. I'm responsible for learning and development for a the global IT support function for DHL based in Prague, Czech Republic and I always recommend your casts to our managers all over the world.
One idea I've heard you touch on a few times in the casts I've listened to is the model of relationship, role, and expert power. Since hearing this, I've used this as a sort of lens to look at how people get things done in an organization. It's a very powerful framework to think about. In particular, I like the link with good listening in the 'micro-communications' casts as a way of putting relationship power in the bank.
I'm wondering if you have a special cast that outlines this model that I might have missed when sifting through the cast titles. I've heard you touch on it a few times but if you don't already have one, I think this topic would be worth a dedicated episode.
Thanks again for your dedication to improving management everywhere.
all the best from Prague!
Robert
PS - write your book please (I will put in an order for our 350 global managers)
Hi everyone!
Hi everyone!
I have exactly the same question.
I know this model has come up on several podcasts, but can anyone point me to some of these, as I can't seem to find one dedicated to this specific subject.
Thanks!
