All,
I am a U.S. Army officer who has taken over a new job. In my new job I will be the S1 officer or Human Relations supervisor. I will oversee the HR needs of approximately 850 individuals.
For those familiar with the Army, the S1 office has 1 officer (me), 1 senior non commissioned officer, and between 4-6 enlisted soldiers. I am debating if I should do weekly O3s with my senior NCO or with the entire shop. Technically, in the Army the senior NCO and I share responsibilities for the shop as a whole. Also, the enlisted soldiers report to him not to me.
I am leaning towards doing as 03s with everyone but I am open to any and all thoughts.

Respectfully,

Michael,

My experience is entirely in the business world. In that environment, you'd likely do O3's with your one senior NCO, and after that was established, work with him/her to establish O3's between the NCO and the enlisted soldiers.

Any members with service experience that could provide context-relevant thoughts?
