I have been in this organization for the past year. Throughout the year, I noticed one of our support staff had some performance issues. I have been increasing my feedback and was at a point of doing a fairly large amount of systemic feedback.
Over the weekend this individual had a horrible personal crisis. She will be out of work for a couple of weeks. Today I discovered that the performance issues were even worse than I had suspected.
Any thoughts on how to address these performance issues with compassion after she returns? How soon do I bring them to her attention?
