Hi,

I used the WWW / TALA / Future "tool" the other day.

I think it is an excellent tool for certain situations. Simple, effective, avoids negatives, focuses on the future. Powerful stuff. In my estimation, it's better than the "Ben Franklin" analysis tool for certain applications. There's some sort of genius in the way that it flows into focusing on getting things done, rather than dwelling on what's messed up.

The situation was an informal status report on a project. I delivered the results in this manner and the next level up manager commented on the effectiveness of my report.

I wanted to give credit to the source of the tool, but was unsure whether this was a Manager-Tools original or if it was adopted or adapted from another source. What is the origin of this tool?

Thanks,
Steve
