I recently discovered the book Six Disciplines for Excellence by Gary Harpst. I have found it to be very useful. It is like the manual they should give everyone who starts or takes over a small to medium size company lacking internal process disciplines. I wish i had it 5 years ago.

I have found it to be most practical business book i have ever read, instead of being full of just stories and experiences this workbook just tells you what to do and gives you the tools to do it.

The book provides easy to implement tools for strategy development, planning, execution, measurement, review and renewal.

Great to finally have a resource of this type so accessible. Great to couple up with Manager Tools processes for people management.

Has anyone else had any experience with this material?
