I've been planning O3's for a month and my team has been expecting me to start them as I brought it up as an agenda item in our last team meeting. Last night I was searching the net for ideas and came across Manager Tools... how awesome is that! I sent out the introductory email this morning and received great responses to it. My first meetng today went really well, even though I was a bit nervous, he was not. I have planned meetings all week, I have 7 DR and 2 Contractors, so this will take more than a week to accomplish, but it's better for me than putting them all in one day. I just want to thank you so very much and I am anxious to listen to the other podcasts! :D

Welcome to Manager Tools! I think I found this site almost a year ago looking for a template for meeting agendas. I haven't left yet. I have my O3s set two days a week every other week (call center - off weeks are for specific quality coaching). I find it easier to pack 2 days full of my O3s than to try to go back and forth from my other work to O3s.

Check out the new 'Basics' section on the website if you haven't already - this has the core tools that you'll find you get the most bang for your buck on. Then make sure you register for the monthly casts too...I played MT on my iPod almost non-stop for months before I caught up!

welcome aboard!

Like Julia, I played MT almost non-stop for several months. By the time I was done, I had to go back and re-listen to topics as issues came up at work because it was so much to absorb in one pass.

Welcome to MT. O3s are great. Your directs are going to love you even more. Next step - feedback.
