Has anyone adjusted their project management style in this time of economic uncertainty? I have attempted to maintain a higher level of agility ie. rent rather than buy where possible. Researched the financial status of critical suppliers and sub-contractors a little more deeply and paid a lot more attention to cash flow. I'm interested to see what others have done.
Cheers,
Pete

Be particularly attentive to the goals and needs of your sponsors, and determine if their investment priorities are shifting. Your company's strategy is likely to shift some (cost savings, hiring freezes, product discontinuations, etc) and this would impact your project.

Thanks John,
I have also been communicating more regularly with all stakeholders, while the sponsor is understandably a little more nervous suppliers and sub-contractors are also in need of more regular "touch base" visits or calls.
