Should the LinkedIn work experience section be a copy and paste of the same material from the resume/CVe one posts on job boards?
I have listened Getting Started with LinkedIn Parts 1 and 2 and found it very useful, and M&M speak about how each job should start with a prose responsibilities paragraph followed by accomplishment bullets on LinkedIn, as is the case for resumes/CVs. Should it include the same details and quantified metrics as one's resume/CV, or should it be less detailed so there is more to talk about at interviews?
Thank you.

Less is More
LinkedIn will get you contact; but the recruiter / hiring manager will still want to see your resume and will use that in the interview. I find that when looking at LinkedIn profiles, I tend to get lost in the long ones (including mine - which I'm working on). I would update your profile to be the summary responsibilities for each position and then maybe a couple of the biggest accomplishments to get interest in your results. Pick the highest impact. I think the prose section should be the same as on the resume.

Thank you John. I'll keep
Thank you John. I'll keep the prose matching my CV and may add an accomplishment bullet or two
