The discussion about what to read is mainly targeted towards the USA. I am wondering whether some other Europeans may have suggestions. Obviously the Harvard Business Review is very useful everywhere (I may even try a subscription), but I am wondering whether there would be local alternatives for e.g. the Wall Street Journal?

The WSJ has a European edition that wins awards every year. The Financial Times is exceptional - you'll never forget it - it's Pink. I wouldn't do business in Europe without reading them.

If you read German, the Frankfurter Allegmagne Zeitung is the best business paper on the continent. I wouldn't do business in Germany without this, and really probably the continent too. But I do like to read.
