I am the team lead for a scrum team of 7 software developers. There are some internal personnel transfers coming up; my team will lose one person and gain another. The person joining my team is not a new hire; he has been with the company for 2 years with a sibling scrum team. He is changing teams but not role or area of work.

What should I do to welcome/transition my new team member?

I listened to some of the podcasts the "new direct" series, but they describe welcoming a new hire, with much of the conversation regarding expectations and values.

I feel like we shold talk on the same topics, but with more emphasis on how my team goes about its work. The company culture is fairly consistent across teams, but each team manages itself as it sees fit.

Suggestions? Is there a "cast for that" ?
