How to draft CV after promotion?

Should I use the same job title in my CV for the whole period I was with the company or use separate the job titles with different achievement bullets?

BACKGROUND:

I have been recently promoted (different job title/more salary) at my company (e.g. from "manager" to "senior manager"). I am still working in the same field. Drafting my  CV,  I wounder if I now should open a new job with separate achievement bullets. The reason why I ask is that the job did not change much and it would be difficult to see the difference, just looking at the achievement bullets. See below for an example:

So should it be:

1)

Senior Manager [4/2008-] at Corporation

=> BULLET 1
=> BULLET 2 [etc.]

I started at 4/2008 but I did not start as Senior Manager.

or 2)

Senior Manager [1/2012-] at Corporation

=> BULLET 1
=> BULLET 2 [etc.]

Manager [4/2008-1/2012] at Corporation

=> BULLET 1
=> BULLET 2 [etc.]

This is more accurate, as the promotion was approved 1.1.2012. Does it look strange?

In short: is it model 1 or 2?

Personally, I do option 2.
It shows that you are learning from each and every experience and that you have achievement to show for that. Also, depending on circumstances, the achievements you show for your junior position might sound a bit dull for the more senior position.
An internal promotion also shows that the organisation believes in you so why missing on the enjoyment of showing off your successes!

Thank you - option 2 it is.
It is as well more honest and accurate.
