I have been recently tasked with writing a hiring justification. I have written them in the past with supporting data and documentation , however, I am at a new company and headcount is a sensitive issue, so I need to be as "formal" as possible and have [i]a lot [/i]of supporting evidence.

Any suggestions on where I can get started? Format or template I should follow? The positon is an Order Entry representative

Any help wwould be much appreciated

Well, I would start with your five key metrics. I am guessing they are things like call time, calls per hour, sales volume per hour, wait time in the queue, dropped calls etc. If you show those are suffering and it is costing your company $$$$$, well, what more do they need?

...and follow with complaints received, data gleaned from recorded calls and comparisons with competitors.
