Growing from ONE-PERSON to a team

I am a Data Analytics/Business Intelligence professional.

After leaving a manager position in a large company (14 years), I have worked for three years alone as a freelancer.

I am now recruiting a FIRST employee and I want to build a team of strong professionals in the nearest future (year). I know it can be challenging both: to gradually built a team and to manage such people. I want to do it right from the start.

Any recommendations on books/resources/podcast episodes on the subject?

Specifically I am looking for resources on growing from ONE-PERSON to a team.
