A good show gets credit in odd ways

In a lounge at Frankfurt airport yesterday. The guy next to me was surfing on these pages. I couldn't help notice it so I said "Sorry to lay my eyes on your screen. I guess you like those guys as much as I do?"
His response was "Yeah, they're great, aren't they! And have you seen their latest invention? (No) They have added this thing on the iPod so you can be even more efficient at listening. (Ehhh, have they?) Yeah, look here!" Then he showed me the little icon for running the book or podcast at 2x speed on his iPhone... "It must have been Mike's idea!" ... :-)

I guess that's what happens when you run a good show - You get credit for the good things, also the good things you don't invent yourself.

I found a nice way to tell him that it is an Apple thing and not an M&M thing. We laughed about it for a long time and he should be alright with it now.
