A reminder to everyone who posts a question and receives a reply, proper etiquette is to say thank you for the effort.

Something I've noticed in these forums is the lack of a simple "thank you" from some members who post questions. Sometimes there's no reply at all. Sometimes, the person posting the question replies to comments, but never says "thanks".

Showing appreciation is basic etiquette that we should all try to practice. I don't think it's possible to over-estimate the goodwill that comes from a simple thank you.

This is just a gentle reminder that if someone has taken the time to comment on your post - even if you don't find their comment terribly useful - saying "thank you" is the appropriate behavior.
