Just wanted to share that I delivered my first piece of feedback this morning. Been doing O3s for quite a while but couldn't get over my apprehensions to start delivering feedback. But now it's started and I will do all that I can to continue and become a more effective manager.

Feels weird, doesn't it?
I've been giving feedback for about 3 months (calendar time; holidays got in the way) and I've only given two pieces of feedback that felt natural. All the rest felt like I was trying to bite my own elbow. It does get easier with time. The key is to stick with it, keep your eyes open, and don't beat yourself up when you realise you haven't given any feedback in a couple of days. Don't even "try harder" to make up for the days you missed. Just keep on rolling down the river.
