Ethics - Recent Trends – Patent Ethics

This is just an ethics thought game.
 

  As per the trend of mega-corporations bringing each other to court over patent infringements; would it become an ethical responsibility of the employee to voice concerns over patent rights? Furthermore, for this question we should assume that this would only be for corporate and legal scenarios so we can preclude any concerns regarding an individual patent holder.
