BLUF: Do any of your recommendations differ if the position is an internal one where you are interviewing with people who you have worked with for the past several years and they are aware of your accomplishments and weaknesses?
I am in the process of interviewing, and have interviewed several times unsuccessfully, with the leadership team at the site I work at. We are a small site (149 employees)and I work very closely with the leadership team as I am using their direct reports on my project teams and I have daily interactions with 85% of the employees at the site.
They are very aware of my past accomplishments and weaknesses as I have reported to many of them in some fashion over the past 12 years.
Would any of the MT recommendations change in this circumstance when it comes to interviewing?
