I am about to leave my department and lead another. One of the things that was suggested to me by a friend was the I should create a template f for a Department Score card to be part of my turn over to the new manager. The card would be a collection of subjective and objective representation of the department on categories such as goals and deliverables, accountability, leadership, safety, etc. It would show the incoming manager where we were at the beginning of the year, where we are and what the year end goals are. a picture is worth a thousand words right?
I can develop on in Word or Excel pretty easy, but if anyone has a template that they are using I'd appreciate taking a look at it.
