Delegation in a sales environment?

I tried doing a quick search but wasn't successful. Feel free to point me in the right direction.

As a manager whose team members are in customer facing sales roles (engineering but stil a sales organization) is there any advice on the types of activity that makes sense to delegate? I suppose every vertical has their own challenges when it comes to this discipline. I'm not sure sales is a special snowflake there but there can be some localized dynamics that I'm wondering if they have been addressed.
