Creating a Resume when re-entering the job market after 15 year absence

I would love to get some feedback on creating a resume when re-entering the job market after a 15 year absence to raise a family.  I was previously a Vice President of a major company, and have kept my skills current and active in the volunteer/non-profit sector, but without any pay.  I am struggling with how to begin the resume process.
