Hello everybody. My name is Tony and I'm a few days away from turning 30. I work at Nationwide Insurance where I have spent time in claims, underwriting and now finance. Currently I'm part of the Financial Leadership Rotation Program (FLRP) which focuses on developing the next wave of financial leaders for the company. Currently I'm rotating through the Performance Management and Analysis area of Scottsdale Insurance, our excess and surplus lines company so I'm spending the winter in sunny Arizona. After I finish this rotation I'm heading back to Columbus, Ohio for the next year and a half of the program.
I'm an avid reader, especially of business books, and I recently discovered the Manager Tools and Career Tools podcast and this forum. I'm looking forward to learn and help out wherever I can. Currently I'm working my way through all of the Career Tools Podcasts from #1. We'll see how long that takes :-P .
I'm currently not in a manager role but this rotation program is supposed to lead to a management role after I graduate. I do have leadership roles in other sides of the company and the industry especially the National CPCU Society, CPCU Society of Columbus and the Nationwide Gen Y Associate Resource Group which I help run.

Looking forward to many interesting debates and to learn as much as I can from you guys.
