Hi all,

I'm working on becoming a brainstorming facilitator for our company. We're a creative agency if that matters...

I've listened to the podcasts and have a great foundation for rules and guidelines, but I wanted to reach out to the forums to see if any of you have recommendations on books or kits on running brainstorming sessions. I'm also looking for additional ideas on "ice breakers/thought starters".

Although this doesn't directly answer your question about running sessions, it may be a useful resource. I especially recommend the TED talk referenced in the comments. http://tomfishburne.com/2013/01/brainstorming-ideas.html The video is not an icebreaker, but you could use it to set the stage.
