I think this is the right forums for this question ....
I have come in to a new IT team and know that there are a number of gaps in the skill set and service offering. Is there a cast on the best way to approach a capability analysis of staff?
I really want to find out their current skill set, education, technology strengths so that I can map it across to what I have determined are required. What is the best way to approach this subject with staff so they don't feel like they are reapplying for their jobs?
