Our guidance on choosing a "significant" accomplishment.

The question 'tell me about a significant accomplishment?' is a staple. It is probably included in 90% of all interviews (and should be in 100% but that's another podcast). Candidates often psych themselves out when they try and answer the question, trying to parse "significant" and comparing their every example to what they assume significant means. It's not as difficult as you think, and if you know ahead of time what significant means, you won't psych yourself out in an interview.

This Cast Answers These Questions

  • Does an accomplishment have to be recent to be significant?
  • Does an accomplishment have to be special to be significant?
  • Does an accomplishment have to be better than every other candidate's to be significant?
