A recent WSJ article said annual reviews are a terrible way to evaluate employees. It's wrong on many levels, and brings up feedback and "check-ins" in a mish-mash of ideas. While we normally don't comment on "current" issues, arguments like this have been made against reviews for the past quarter century, and are worthy of debunking.
