We hear from managers all the time who love our guidance on One-On-Ones (MTO3s). They implement them, and they can't imagine going back to not doing them. The next step to effective management is to build upon the trust from MTO3s to start giving more feedback. But many managers stop there. We talk ourselves out of giving feedback. Here's one way to get over that: ask yourself what you would want from your manager.
