There are nefarious reasons for wanting someone else to do your work, and those are probably the ones we first think of. There's good reasons too, like it being in someone else's skill set, or giving them a chance to try something new or even allowing you to concentrate on your most important tasks. Assuming you have the best of intentions, how do you ask your boss to shift some of work to your co-worker?
