John and Mark,

First I would like to say thanks so much for all the amazing work you guys do.  Over the past few months since I fount MT, you have helped me find another gear in life.

I am a contributing member of a group called Detroit Young Professionals.  We currently have about 2000 members.

Detroit Young Professionals (DYP) is a regional nonprofit organization that provides professional development, social networking and civic engagement opportunities. We are dedicated to making metro Detroit a better place and developing our region's next generation of leaders.

Can I/we present on some of the MT material?  I really would like to use it, but its not my IP.  We of course would cite MT as the source and STRONGLY recommend everyone registering.  We are also thinking about having our members do a DiSC profile through the MT site as well.

I did think about emailing this, but I noticed the thread about the emails.

Thanks,

Jeff in Detroit

Jeff,

Mark and Mike own the Manager-Tools IP, and you should contact them directly.  While I'm active in the M-T community, I can't speak for their interests.

You should review carefully the terms of use:  http://www.manager-tools.com/terms-of-use

On a separate note, DYP looks like a good organization.  I'm a native of suburban Detroit and it always does my heart good to see what's happening back home.

Thanks for the heads up.  I am going to email john and mark and ask about this in greater detail.  It does say that non-profits are excluded from using this, but I would like some clarification since we are not a typical non-profit being a networking and professional group.

Best Regards,

Jeff-

I'd be happy to discuss what you're asking.  We generally don't allow presentations with our stuff (our lawyers ask us to be careful), but we're willing to see if there's some way we can help.

Why don't you PM me and tell me more of what you're wanting to do, venue, scope, time, etc.?

Mark
