We've told you how to build your network by being indiscriminate and adding everyone, and then, importantly, KEEPING IN TOUCH with them.

Helpful because it is easy and common sense

Guys,

I love this cast. I'm not a natural network person (big time high C here). But I've been working on it and the ideas in this cast are great ways to build a network because it is easy to do. One thing I've noticed as I watch interactions in my company. Every executive smiles and says "hi" or some equivalent to people when they walk down the hall. Yet, when I walk by non-executives, it is hit or miss.

One last note, the upcoming holidays are a great excuse to connect with your network. A short email or call saying "Happy Holidays" can be the motivation you need to build your network. Just keep finding those excuses to connect all year long.
