This book is a wonderful, well written, easy to read practical book for all managers from all walks of life. Do not hire just because someone leaves - think about it first. You may have just reduced your costs for free. Get your team to think about what they can stop doing - creative abandonment. Only hire people who will bring a new perspective, something fresh and raise the bar of your team. Shift your onboarding to the left as much as possible. For example, an engineer should be able to code and take something to production on day 1 - that should be the goal of onboarding. And 100% actionable from day one. A must read for all the managers on my team.
