I'm now coming up on my 5 year anniversary at work. Why is that a big deal? Because almost no one I work with in my large company is coming up on this particular anniversary. No one was hiring back in 2009, when an entire section of my old company was being laid off. My staff and I already had updated resumes, complete with bulleted accomplishments (great casts on that!). We had a decent network of professionals that we worked hard to keep in touch with (great casts on that!). And we had learned how to focus on building great teams who got things done (awesome casts on that!). Many of my staff weathered the 2009 recession just fine because Manager Tools had prepared us and made me an effective manager. I will never be able to thank you guys enough.
