OK - it's very flattering to get a unsolicited recommendation on Linkedin - but a ex-client of mine has submitted this one:
"Dale's knowlegde an experiance has been of great value to us in the ongoing development of our internal systems, allowing greater control and transperancy. His practical in field experiance made communicating or needs a lot easier as he well versed in both the IT elements and Constructions providing sound, educated outcomes"
I'm concerned the spelling and grammar mistakes detract from the recommendation and my own profile.. - What should I do? - Ask the guy to fix it? - or just not put it up on the site?

Linkedin recommendation
Hi Dale
Why don’t you fix the errors yourself, send it back to your colleague and ask if he’s ok with the slight changes you’ve made. If you have a good relationship with him, hopefully he won’t mind the minor amendments.

Mistakes Happen
Hi,
First write them a recommendation to show your thanks, then send the fixed version back. Use praise and thanks to the client for taking the time.

Is it possible that English
Is it possible that English is not his first language? The spelling and punctuation errors would lead me to believe that English is not his first language and that he did his best with what he had.
With this in mind I could be more impressed that he applied the effort to write a review in a foreign (to him) language.
Of course this may not apply. Just offering an alternative viewpoint.
