Has anyone used the Belbin Team Role theory in assessing current team members or building new. I wonder if there are any overlaps with the DISC model and Belbin.

I've never used Belbin in anger, but it is part of one of the pyschometric tests we use for recruitment. I think like all of these types of models, it's one more way to understand who you are and what you are like.. and that they people around you are more or less like you.
If you can see someone else's preference not as wierd behaviour, but as a beneficial trait in the right circumstance it helps you work with them as an individual and if a whole team can do the testing, as a team.

I don't know anything about Belbin - sorry.
