Technical Interview and Steve Yegge's "Get That Job At Google" Post
I am wondering what folks who are familiar with the interviewing series think about Steve Yegge's post on interviewing with Google: http://steve-yegge.blogspot.com/2008/03/get-that-job-at-google.html.
To provide some background on my question, I am a lawyer and my husband is a software developer. During a conversation about hiring practices in our respective industries, he cited this article as standard practice in the tech industry. After reading the article I was a bit surprised about the advice to study technical details for preparation as opposed to practicing answers to behavioral questions.
Does anyone have any opinions about this sort of advice or experiences that confirm or deny this approach?
